I live outside of the boundary - can my child still play?
Yes - anyone is welcome to play at Westside, regardless of where they live! You can also be eligible if you attend school within our boundaries. Please note you must obtain a boundary waiver if you live and attend school out of district and wish for your child to be eligible to be selected to the district all-star team. Please note only players 9yrs old and above can be selected to a district all-star team.
Can I serve as the Head Coach for more than 1 team?
Absolutely! For any individuals serving as Head Coach for more than 1 team, WSLL will ensure your game schedule does not contain any overlapping game times for your respective teams.
How many games will we play? When are practices?
The number of practices will be up to your respective coach. Each division will play 12+ regular-season games in the Spring or 8+ regular-season games in the Fall. All teams also participate in a post-season playoff tournament to decide division champions.
Who are the coaches?
Volunteers - the vast majority of whom are parents of a child on the team.
How many players per team?
There are usually 12 players per team in Pee Wee AL, 12 in Pee Wee NL, 10-to-12 in Pee Wee Girls, and 10-to-11 in Colt, Minors, and Majors.
What do we need for tryouts?
Players simply need to bring a glove, bat, and batting helmet to tryouts.
How do I update my email address or contact information?
You need to login to your Stack Sports account to update your email address. WSLL administrators cannot update personal information.
How do I get the emails that my spouse is getting that I am not?
You need to login into your Stack Sports account and link your email and your spouse's email to your child. WSLL administrators cannot update personal information.
